Reflexive Anniversary free game give away continues...

Reflexive Entertainment is pleased to continue the month-long full version give away of Ricochet Xtreme to celebrate its ninth anniversary. Having begun less than a week ago, more than 10,000 copies of Ricochet Xtreme have been given away as 'party favors' to guests at Reflexive.com.

Lake Forest, CA – October 20, 2006 – In 1997, a group of friends created a game company so they could make games on their own terms. With a desire to develop their own ideas and a passion to make the best games available, Reflexive Entertainment was born on October 15th, 1997. Created at a time when the Internet was young, broadband was a dream, and 95% of us felt pretty cool just to have a dial-up modem, Reflexive's immediate focus on creating a game distributed by download over the Internet made them a pioneer in what would come to be known as Digital Distribution.

The lessons we learned have become very valuable as digital distribution has matured. We've used the information as we've expanded from the PC to the Xbox and from just distributing our own games to also helping developers distribute their games.”

As a part of Reflexive's Anniversary Celebration, Reflexive made the full version of Ricochet Xtreme, one of the first widely successful digitally distributed games, available for free to everyone through Reflexive's website: www.reflexive.com. Since Reflexive began giving away the 'coolest party favor ever' less than a week ago, more than 10,000 copies of Ricochet Xtreme have been given away. Reflexive has appreciated the wonderful response and the hundreds of thousands of visitors who've 'dropped by' to wish Reflexive a 'Happy Anniversary.'
